Griffin-Spalding County Public Library Services

Welcome to the Griffin-Spalding County Library!

Please note that the Griffin-Spalding County Library frequently engages in photographing and recording programs and events for its own publicity and promotional purposes. Library staff will make every effort to notify members of the public when filming and audio recording is taking place.  Please notify a Library staff member before an event starts if you do not want to be photographed or recorded.

Apply for a Library Card

PINES library cards are free for all Georgia residents. You must present a valid photo ID showing current Georgia address. A parent or legal guardian must be present to register a child under 18.  There is no longer a charge to replace a lost or stolen card.  A card is not required to attend programs or visit the library, however, you must have your card or show your card on the PINES app to check out items.

You can also apply for a PINES e-card online! Click here to fill out the form.

An e-card provides immediate access to your library’s online resources, including our digital library and learning resources. If you’d like to upgrade to a full PINES card in order to check out library books and other materials, please bring your e-card account number and your photo ID to any PINES library to complete the registration process. If you have any questions, please call your local library for assistance.
